About CyberNyaya
A student-led initiative focused on clear, accurate, and accessible explanations of cybersecurity law and digital governance in India.
Who We Are
Cyber Nyaya is run by students of the Master of Cyber Law and Information Security (MCLIS) program at National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal.
As emerging professionals at the intersection of law, technology, and policy, we aim to bridge the gap between complex legal‑technical concepts and everyday understanding.
Our Purpose
This publication exists to provide structured, objective, and well‑researched content on:
- Indian and international cyber law frameworks
- Key cybersecurity concepts and technologies
- Important judicial decisions and case studies
- Emerging policy developments in digital governance
- Data protection, privacy, and incident response
- Regulatory compliance for organizations and institutions
Our goal is clarity and public education — not opinion, advocacy, or speculation.
Our Approach
Every article is written with three core principles in mind:
- Accuracy — grounded in primary legal texts, official notifications, judgments, and technical standards
- Clarity — explained in straightforward language suitable for students, professionals, and policymakers
- Neutrality — focused on explanation and analysis rather than commentary or prediction
